Certified Kanban Systems Design (KMP I)
Is your team moving too quickly for an average Agile sprint? Do you need an even more flexible and responsive way to manage your teams work? If so, Lean Kanban may be the answer.
Excella Consulting’s Kanban Systems Design (KMP I) is a highly interactive two-day class accredited by Lean Kanban University. It provides a detailed look at using Kanban to reduce cycle times, deliver faster, and drive continuous improvement. Emphasis is placed on “starting where you are” and using Kanban to improve understanding, alignment, and performance. Stress is placed on fundamental principles, including managing delivery flow, visualization, and systems thinking. These concepts are presented in a highly interactive and collaborative format with elements of lecture, classroom discussion, and simulation.
The course will familiarize students with these concepts through a sophisticated simulation that models a modern software development life cycle. Students will be challenged to develop, refine, and utilize their own Kanban to drive decisions and facilitate performance improvements. Learning will be very interactive and hands-on.
Who Should Sign Up
The class is great for teams looking for an evolutionary approach to agility, including current Scrum Masters, Product Owners, business analysts, developers, testers, DevOps Engineers, or anyone involved with the software development life cycle.
What’s In It For You
You will leave this class with actionable knowledge of the Kanban Method and how to use STATIK (Systems Thinking Approach to Introducing Kanban) to create and improve Kanban systems. Pragmatic, actionable, evidence-based guidance will give you familiarity with the fundamentals of Kanban, and a certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the course.
Additionally, students can claim 14 Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDUs) which can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications.
