One of Kanban University's inaugural Kanban Coaching Professionals (KCP) and inaugural Accredited Kanban Consultants (AKC).
In 2002, seeing factors beyond IT tools and technical practices impacted my employer’s ability to predictability deliver quality products and services, I started and continue studying lean thinking and agile principles. Today, as an AKC and long-time member of the global Kanban University community, I truly enjoy sharing this learning and experience with co-workers and clients in developing their own (lean and agile) solutions to evolve and optimize development and delivery workflows end-to-end, including upstream and downstream of development teams, to predictably deliver quality products and services. I have 30+ years of IT related experience, 20 developing IT/software products and services, with 15+ being self-employed providing programming, coaching, and consulting services to 24 clients, including Fortune 100 companies. Overall, I have worked with 30+ organizations, in pharma and biotech supply chain, insurance, telecom, e-retail, financial, structural engineering, and environmental fields.
Local, Global Community Efforts and Education:
I started and co-lead the Agile Denver Kanban CoP (community of practice), and actively contribute to local and global groups devoted to the learning and applying of lean and agile principles, processes, and practices, including Agile-Denver, and Kanban University. My formal education includes an MS in Computer Information Systems (w/Technical Management emphasis), and a BS in Applied Math/CS.
